The head of Mercedes-AMG, Tobias Moers, confirmed that the company will present the GT R at the Goodwood auto show, but it will not always be the flagship model.
Communicating with the journalist Top Gear, Moers said that a full-fledged Black Series model is being prepared, but it is too early to talk about it.
As for the GT R, so far much about this model, including the appearance, is kept secret. It is expected that some solutions will be used from the track sports car Mercedes-AMG GT3, while under the hood will be located the turboturbated 4.0-liter V8 engine. Its power should be about 600 horsepower. AMG GT R will also become lighter by 79 kilograms, plus will receive a number of other improvements.
