A few days before the public debut at the Festival of Speed in Goodwood, the McLaren 570S Sprint supercar was introduced over the Internet.
As expected, the novelty is a track-oriented version of the McLaren 570S. Supercar received a number of new body components, made of carbon fiber, which improved aerodynamics. The performance is answered by a well-known 3.8-liter Biturbo V8 engine, which works with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. McLaren does not yet reveal the performance, but it promises that horsepower and torque have been optimized. In addition, the novelty should be louder than other representatives of the Sport Series.
Inside, the 570S Sprint has a tubular safety cage and a fire extinguisher. The driver’s seat has received a number of improvements to better match the conditions of the track. Buyers can also purchase an optional package to meet GT4 racing standards. Recall that for this series, McLaren also offers a ready-to-start 570S GT4.
Prices for the McLaren 570S Sprint start from 148,000 pounds ($ 218,000)
