The next generation Honda Civic Coupe was seen during the tests. The car is almost without disguise, which is not surprising, given its speedy debut.
It is expected, but the novelty will be presented next week at the motor show in Los Angeles. The serial version impresses less than the concept, with the roofline making the compartment look like a fastback.
Like the sedan, the coupe will receive an evolutionary atmospheric 2.0-liter engine with 158 hp. (118 kW) and 138 lb-ft (187 Nm) of torque, as well as a new 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a power of 174 hp. (129 kW) and 162 lb-ft (219 Nm). In the basic configuration, the Japanese will offer a six-speed manual gearbox or a stepless analog, but a model with a turbocharged engine can only be purchased with a specially designed CVT.
Honda Civic Coupe will be presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
