The presentation of the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe is getting closer. At the new spy photos, the car lost some of its camouflage, which indicates the imminent release of this modem.
The design does not look unexpected. In it, we see familiar solutions from the latest sedan and E-Class wagon, as well as similar C-Class and S-Class coupe. Behind it, the “eater” looks more rounded than the S-Class coupe and a little more bulky compared to the C-Class. But most of the design solutions, especially in the front, repeat the sedan.
From the standpoint of the coupe architecture, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is based on the modular MRA platform, like the sedan and estate wagon. The engine range includes petrol and diesel turbocharged units with four cylinders in the starting sets. In more advanced versions of the coupe we are likely to see a six-cylinder V6 and a 4.0-liter V8.
It is expected that the German company will introduce the novelty in 2017. Most likely, it will happen at the Geneva Motor Show.
