The third generation of the hatchback i30 made its debut last month at the Paris Motor Show. Now Hyundai is preparing to present the variant in the body of the station wagon. This novelty of the ball is caught during the tests in Germany.
As expected, the novelty will come under the name i30 CW. Despite the abundant disguise, it is unlikely that we will see many changes in comparison with the hatchback. The main feature of the station wagon will be an increased volume of the trunk.
In terms of technical characteristics, the i30 CW should not be different from the hatchback. It is expected that we will see a familiar range of engines, including a new turbocharged 1.4-liter unit generating 138 horsepower (103 kW) and 179 lb-ft (242 Nm) of torque.
Note that after the release of the station wagon, Hyundai will expand the i30 family with the four-door coupé.
