The Czech manufacturer has already confirmed plans for the release of the coupe-like crossover Kodiaq, but there are practically no details about the model. It is possible that the car will receive a design in the style of the concept car Vision E, which debuts at the Shanghai Motor Show in mid-April.
As reported by “Avtomambler”, originally the analogue of the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe from the Czech brand was planned to be sold only in China, but later the company decided to expand the sales territory to Europe. It is assumed that the Kodiaq Coupe will have much in common with the Tiguan Coupe and will receive a plug-in hybrid version. Ruler engine, most likely, the novelty will be shared with the usual Kodiaq. It is expected that the prices for the cross-coupe will start from the mark of 30 000 euros and reach up to 50 000 euros.
Recall, Skoda Kodiaq in the usual body will appear in Russia in June 2017, prices will be announced closer to this date. The press service of the company previously said that the crossover will be offered with the all-wheel drive system, gasoline engines in volume 1,4 and 2 liters with a capacity of 150 and 180 hp. Respectively, as well as with a 150-horsepower two-liter diesel.
