As part of the auto show in New York, the German manufacturer showed official images of the model that survived the restyling, and also named the timing of the appearance of the S-Class on the market.
The main changes in the exterior design are the new headlight geometry and another grille. In the interior, the upgrade touched the dashboard, the steering wheel and the multimedia system. The main innovation in the technical part was the autopilot, which allows the driver to release the steering wheel on the track: the system can independently gain speed, slow down and rebuild.
The range of engines of the updated S-Class includes gasoline and diesel six-cylinder engines, as well as V8 biturbo. In addition, the plug-hybrid version will be available for sale.
The public debut of the “live” car will be held in the framework of the motor show in Shanghai in a week, and in sales will begin in July.
