In the first quarter of 2017, the American manufacturer sold 69% more electric vehicles than a year earlier.
According to the company, which leads The Wall Street Journal , from January to March, Tesla dealers sold around the world 25,000 electric vehicles, including 13.45 thousand Model S sedans and 11.55 thousand Model X crossovers. At that, 25,148 thousand copies were produced.
Meanwhile, as of January 1, 2017 in Russia there were only 177 Tesla Model S sedans and 19 Model X crossovers. Recall that while the interests of the American brand in the Russian market are represented by Moscow Tesla Club, which has the status of an official service. However, as reported by “Avtomambler”, Tesla can come to Russia already in 2018 – the manufacturer already chooses a site in Moscow for the showroom.
