Evacuators are one of the most controversial innovations that have emerged in the process of organizing a parking space.

Myth number 1: they take less from small streets
It seems to many that hunters for improperly parked cars “hunt” only on busy streets. After all, it’s much more convenient to work there. It turned out, on the contrary, equipped with forbidding signs quiet snags, where motorists are often packed into attempts to hide, is a “bread” place for evacuators. All such points in their area the crews already know and pay special attention to them.
Not having time to drive away from the meeting place, we dive into some nook and cranny. It turns out that formally this is not a yard, but a travel road. Immediately, there is also the first violator.
Myth number 2: will not have time to take
We found out: from the moment of detection of the car under the “cross” before the departure of the evacuator with the car loaded onto it, it took only five minutes. Therefore, assessing your chances, when you plan to “just run to the store for water,” you need to understand that there can be very little time left in the stock. As practice showed, two out of three found intruders managed to return. But even if you come to the car on time, even before the evacuation, from the fine it will not save.
Myth number 3: they will not take away from the sign
Where did this error come from, remains a mystery. Bike, that if you stand directly under the prohibitory sign, then they will not take you away, walking among the motorists for a long time. Perhaps, the myth gave birth to an erroneously drawn parallel with the parks working on GPS and GLONASS.

It was precisely with this situation that we managed to collide in the roadstead. Arrived immediately after the departure of the evacuator, the woman began to swear that her “Honda” was supposed to stand before the sign. I threatened with complaints. But the picture of the car directly under the “cross”, immediately demonstrated by the masters, quickly cooled the ardor of the motorist.
Myth number 4: a large SUV tow truck will not pick up
But this is only a partial myth. An ordinary full-size SUV like the Land Cruiser will easily take away any good wrecker. Myth number 5: there are lists of “untouchables”
There are rumors that MADI has a base of “thieves’ numbers, cars with which it is forbidden to touch. “There are no lists and instructions, there is a decision on the conscience of the inspector, I have not even been caught in such a way, I’ve been working all year, and the same AMR – they all drive with drivers, how they will be taken away.” Of course, no one will touch the police car ” , – the employee of MADI admits.
And now a little about the scheme of work:
The evacuators themselves, despite the fact that they all seem to be the “root of evil” – people who are servile. In the event that the car is under a prohibitory sign, the decision to export is taken by the MADI inspector. If the car is parked in a wheelchair, pedestrian crossing or semicircular marking – a traffic police officer.
Inspector MADI, along with a technician from AMPA, moves by car, for the most part, it’s official white Citroen C4. The inspector searches for violators, the technician coordinates the evacuators. Usually at least one “green” goes next. The route is not rigidly fixed, as in the parks, but it is looped and more or less stable. The circle closes in about one and a half to two hours, depending on the traffic jams and the number of violators. On average, for an eight-hour shift it is possible to send five cars to the parking lot, the work of 60 teams goes on day and night. Nevertheless, the MADI admitted that there are still unoccupied places in Moscow.
In addition to evacuation, last fall, MADI employees were given the right to fine for parking on lawns. Seeing the car, which is not on the asphalt, the inspector “determines visually”, whether there are “signs of green spaces”, and further, if this place is listed in the registry as a lawn, sends a fine.
We drove through several places known to our crew. In most cases, fines are perfectly fair, you can not park on the lawn and it’s not even discussed. But one point provoked frank questions, otherwise it could not be called a trap – a piece of parking in front of the grocery store is stripped of asphalt for no apparent reason. According to documents – a lawn. In fact – a piece of rolled-up earth. How and why there appeared formally called a lawn, a fenced piece in the middle of the parking lot, remains a mystery.
