Japanese company Honda has introduced a hybrid version of Odyssey, which is available from now in Japan.
Minivan received a hybrid system of the Sport Hybrid i-MMD (Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive), which will provide a consumption of about 3.8 liters per 100 kilometers. As the Japanese company promises, this is the best result in its class. The system includes a 2.0-liter engine and an electric motor, while a standard 2.4-liter engine is installed under the hood of the standard Odyssey.
Depending on the configuration, the car will offer 7 or 8 seats in the cabin. The Japanese company also updated a number of driver assistance and safety systems. As for the price, the 2016 Honda Odyssey is sold from 2,760,000 yen ($ 23,650). The most expensive equipment will cost 4 056 000 yen (34 755 dollars). Note that a new generation of minivans can be presented at the end of this year or early next year.
