As expected, at the Frankfurt Motor Show, BMW introduced a hybrid model BMW 330e, designed for those who need a fuel-efficient solution, as well as for people who care about the environment.
Hybrid power system is equipped with 2.0-liter petrol engine TwinPower Turbo with four cylinders, electric motor and 7.6 kW lithium-ion battery. The engine produces 184 hp. (135 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque, while the electric motor develops 88 hp. (65 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft). The combined output is 252 hp. (185 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft).
The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds, and the maximum speed is 225 km / h. As for fuel consumption, it is promised at 1.9-2.1 liters per 100 km, while CO2 emissions will be about 44-49 g / km. On electricity the model will be able to drive up to 40 km.
